Summary:

This peer-reviewed publication presents the most comprehensive international consensus to date on the identification and treatment of New-Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus (NORSE) and Febrile Infection-Related Epilepsy Syndrome (FIRES). Developed by the International NORSE Consensus Group, these recommendations aim to standardize care, improve outcomes, and guide both acute management and long-term care strategies for patients with these rare and life-threatening neurological conditions.
